Maybe: In regards to lung cancer, if someone fits a certain demographic: smoker or former smoker (>100 lifetime cigarettes), male and age >40, and a suspicious nodule or mass on chest ct, then the pretest probability of that abnormality being a lung cancer is > 90%.

No: Ct scans are imaging studies and can tell if there are possible problems, they cannot be used to make pathological diagnoses. Any findings on ct scan should be followed a procedure to obtain a biopsy. This information should be used to give a better picture of what is going on.
