Although : Although i can't diagnose the source of your symptoms, they are concerning. You have either had no sleep or markedly diminished sleep over approximately six days. You have so much energy that you are pacing and feel like you drank a pot of coffee. It is severe enough that you can't function and fear you are going crazy. This can be related to use of some types of drugs. But it sounds from your question as if this is not the issue. Some medical conditions like hyperthyroidism can have some similar symptoms. You might be experiencing hypomania or mania. These are both conditions in which the brain and body go into hyperdrive. Because there is no way to tell from this interchange, if it is a metabolic problem or the extent of your increased energy, i recommend that you be seen at the emergency room to be evaluated for possible mania. Take care.

Sleep Disorder: Your sleeping pattern is erratic. It would be good to have a complete physical exam by a Medical Doctor to find out if you have any physical illness. If there is none then a Clinical Psychologist could help you determine what is troubling you and interfering with your sleep. You may be referred to a sleep disorders study or receive help with psychotherapy. If needed medication can help.
