I have a major headache. otc pills don't help get rid of the pain. what do i do? i had a blood transfusion 5 days ago because of anemia. there is a constant dull pain but every now and then there is a sharp pain.that stops me dead in my track

Call your doctor: It is hard to evaluate the cause and how serious a bad headache is for you, but since most 23 year olds have never had a blood transfusion, your past medical history is complicated enough that serious things could be going on. Call your doctor's office today (they should gave an on-call doctor to answer questions on the weekend).
