I have a stinging pain in the back of my knee and its slightly swollen any advice? i can barely put any pressure on it and when i lift it up off the chair everything below the knee starts to tingle.

The : The potential diagnoses include (in order of decreasing likelihood) bakers cyst (possibly irritating the nearby nerves or vessels resulting in the tingling) baker's cysts are often associated with meniscus (cartilage) tears blood clot (dvt) stress fracture, muscle/tendon tear and herniated disc (in back causing knee pain) are also possible but unlikely your symptoms are of such significance that i recommend that you seek the advice and evaluation of your primary doctor or orthopaedic surgery as soon as you are able.
