A member asked:

1 month recovering from microlumbar disectomy, l4/l5, l5/s1. back pain relieved but numbness/tingling/pressure in right knee persists. possibilities?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neuropathic pain: You may still have irritation of the nerve root but it is also possible that you have injury to a peripheral nerve innervating the knee. This possibility would be most likely if you had diabetes or the original injury involved trauma to your knee.
