First : First let us talk about what your real concerns are. Are u concerned about the wellbeing of your sister and how to get help for her? If so, is it a new behavior of your sister or it has been going on for many years? If it is a new behavior it needs to be analysed- is she doing any gambling and incured debts as a result of gambling ? Or is she using any street drugs and to support the habit she is taking money from others? Is there any change in her medical status. Some times some brain tumors can contribute for the above mentioned behaviors. Lying, stealing are not the symptoms/signs of schizophrenia. Advise your sister to see a psychiatrist.
