I have been taking amoxicillion for 9 days. i have about 6 hives on my elbow area only on both arms. do i need to go to emergency room or can i wait until tomorrow? no other symptoms

By : By the date of this post almost a week has gone by. Hopefully you called your doctor. For the future, you should not take Amoxicillin or related antibiotics. Also if you ever experience an allergic reaction again discontinue the medication immediately and take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) as needed for itching, hives, and inflammation. Lastly if you ever experience an allergic reaction accompanied by shortness of breath and/or a feeling that your throat is closing up call 911. Take care.
