Sore theoat: You need a throat culture to confirm it. Best to do off antibiotics for five days.

Unlikely : Unlikely.... Most probably viral infection. However if fevers or sore throat getting worse.... Of course go see a physician. You may need throat swabs, rapid strep and Mono spot tests as well.. And antibiotics if clinical signs point to bacterial infection.
