Do children who have been abused have problems with getting in trouble at school?

Not necessarily: Children who are abused many times will have a number of social difficulties because of the horrible circumstances that they have been in. However in a supportive environment and with proper counseling they can thrive. Child abuse is preventable- if you or your child are being abused (physical, emotional or sexual) please get out and get help.

Abuse: Children have trouble identifying their emotions and knowing how to deal with them. Acting out is often a sign of that. Counseling is the best way to help that.
