Does sleeping on your back correlate with sleep terrors?

Not really: Sleep terrors are a very interesting phenomenon usually seen in little children that arouse suddenly from sleep and scream. They are hard to console, may sweat, heart racing, and go right back to sleep. Not associated with back sleeping. However, certain conditions such as sleep apnea can cause patients to wake up from dreams gasping and choking. Sleep apnea tends to be worse on the back.
