Night terrors can : occur in adults, but are much more common in children. They are a sleep disorder during which an adult remains asleep while displaying fearful or aggressive behaviors, & later remembers nothing but dream fragments, as opposed to nightmares from which an adult awakens & remembers details. If you have a recurrent sleep disorder, see your doctor for evaluation & possible referral for a sleep study.
