Work on sleep: Night terrors are often seen in kids with poor or irregular sleep habits that lead to long term deficits in quality deep sleep. The usual gradual glide from wake to deep sleep is different, more like a crash landing. NT's are usually seen in the first hours after initiating sleep. Changing the sleep ritual to add more sleep time & settling at initiation ( reading/stories, etc) may decrease events
