Doctor can examine: Rashes are hard to describe in words. A doctor's exam can help decide what rash spots or bumps on the skin might be. Spots can be "post-inflammatory," the residual effects of an earlier rash. Spots can be bug bites, eczema (sensitive, dry skin), scabies, fungal infections (tinea versicolor), reactions with chemicals like soaps, etc... There are many possibilities.
