I : I my practice, i now do much more brazilian butt lift, over buttocks implants. This riks with implants in that part of the body is infection and the possibility of implant rotation or malposition. If you get an infection, the implants have to be removed. If they rotate, they look funny and you may need another operation. I have found that the brazilian butt lift has many benefits. First of all, the fat is harvested from the abdomen, flanks (love handles), back, and sometimes the thighs. Let's face it, who doesn't want fat removed from these areas? Furthermore, the fat is permanently removed from these areas, and does not come back! the fat is then processed and transfered to the buttocks, and I have full control of where to add the volume (contrast to implants), and i can reshape the buttocks into the most desirable contours. I am able to create an awesome hourglass figure, which has been shown to be very desirable, although we don't really need scientific data to know that an hourglass is desirable. Also, if you gain weight in the future, you will likely maintain the hourglass figure because the fat is permanently redistributed into more desirable areas. But remember not all of the transfer fat may work. Fat graft allows your surgeon to sculpture your buttock shape and place it where the extra fat is most needed.
