A member asked:

Noticed after a brazilian was that right on my inner buttock, there's a lightbrown spot that looks like a flat cafe au lait spot. wasn't there before- what could this be?

Could be that: A normal person is still considered normal if he or she has 1-5 cafe au lait spots. She can ask her primary care doctor about the issue, at her routine check-ups, which may happen every 2-3 years or so if she is normal and healthy. She may also just make a separate appointment to ask her doctor to check on her skin to look for anything unusual, not just at possible cafe au lait spots.

Agree with Dr. K: It may be reaction to the chemicals in Brazilian. You may wish to watch and wait. if the lesion is not betting better by three weeks, it would be prudent to see a doctor.
