Yes: Blepharoplasty should not but in some cases can create misshapen eyes. This is not a desired effect and can usually be corrected with adjustment. Blepharoplasty is a surgery and an art so the artistic ability and the experience of the surgeon is a big factor.

Complications: Of blepharoplasty are uncommon. Asymmetry is possible, but should be very uncommon. One thing which is important to evaluate is the amount of asymmetry present before surgery. If the eyes (or face, breasts, etc) are not the same before surgery (and they never are perfectly symmetric), they will not be perfectly symmetric after surgery. Best wishes.

Unlikely: Eyelid surgery is typically very consistent and predictable. That being said - make sure that you communicate what you think "misshapen" means to your surgeon for clarification. Doctors and patients don't always communicate on the same wavelength so make sure you ask specific questions during your consultation. Remember also that brow position matters and can be one source of asymmetry.

Possible: While this is a possibility the chances are very low. Be sure to consult a board certified plastic surgeon or specialty trained occuloplastic surgeon for this procedure.

Possible but uncommo: Belpaharoplasty surgery is intended to change the shape of the eyelids by removing excess skin and contouring the underlying fat. Most people heal very well after eyelid surgery. Although possible, "misshapen" eyes would be an uncommon outcome.

Blepharoplasty: The goal of blepharoplasty is to rejuvenate your eyelids. Have your eyelids evaluated by a board certified surgeon with expertise in eyelid surgery. This will help minimize untoward results.
