No: Trampolines have been popular for years & seem to get more so after the olympics or other exposure. As part of closely supervised training they are of less but constant risk but the aap and other groups do not recomend them for kids. Injuries on mounting, dismounting & use are common and vary from broken bones to neck down parylisis. I equate them to letting a kid roller skate on a busy street.

Yes and no.: In general they are responsible for lots of injuries. Officilly the aap is against them because of thatnhigh injury risk. But if a high quality trampoline with quality sides is used with god supervision and rules then the could be safe. Limit to 1-2 kids at once. Never allow flips. And use a trampoline with quality sides so that kids cannot fall off. Those rules prevent most injuries.
