Most : Most pain medication contain aspirin, tylenol (acetaminophen) or other blood thinning medications. It is crucial that you ask your health care provider what pain medication he/she can prescribe that does not contain blood thinning properties.

Tylenol (acetaminophen): You can take tylenol, (acetaminophen) but be careful to observe the label for maximum 24 hour dose. Call the surgeon and ask for prescription options if pain is intolerable.
