Could be serious!: Good morning, sharp pain in the lower part of the stomach in at 14 years, if present in the right side of the abdomen could indicate an appendicitis or an ovarian pain in rare cases. Usually such pains are not serious. However, appendicitis may be a matter of concern if not diagnosed in time. Constipation is the most common cause for such pains, in addition to ovarian changes with ovulation.
