Yes: If you have BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy or an enlarged prostate) and because of that you are not able to empty your bladder completely then you are definitely predisposed to getting a uti. Drink plenty of fluids and void often to minimize the risk. If the symptoms are troublesome talk to your urologist about starting you on medication for it.

Yes, especially...: Clinically, men with bph-related symptoms are prone to develop uti. But, its exact mechanism is yet unclear; it has been postulated that resultant tissue changes (more collagen and possible ischemia) of bladder muscle and high residual urine after voiding secondary to poor relaxation and opening of prostate urethra.
