Most, : Most, if not all surgeries will leave a scar. This unfortunately includes the mini tummy tuck. A mini tummy tuck addresses fat and skin laxity below the navel. A full tummy tuck leaves a longer scar and address skin and fat above and below the navel. When incisions are repaired in layers from the inside outward, the resulting scar should be fine and 1-2 mm wide. However, this is still a scar. It should be hidden below the bikini line. I hope this helps. Jason hess, md.

Any : Any surgery will leave a scar. The object is to keep the scar as short, as thin and as concealed as possible. With a "mini" tummy tuck the scar is typically much shorter than a full tummy tuck, can be of similar quality and also low down concealed within the area of the underwear or a bathing suit.

Yes: The place for a mini tummy tuck scar is the same s for a full tummy tuck just a bit shorter. If you don't have too much skin excess you myay discuss liposuction with your plastic surgeon instead of. Mini tummy tuck.

Yes: All types of tummy tuck operations are associated with a scar along the lower abdominal wall area. The mini tummy tuck operation involves a significantly shorter scar ( but is also much less effective and very rarely indicated). The vast majority of patients who have had pregnancies and/or weight gain/loss benefit from full tummy tuck surgery.

Yes. Most surgeries involve creating incisions that will leave noticeable scars. However, a mini tummy tuck procedure creates only a small incision below your navel where excess skin and abdominal fats will be harvested through liposuction. Because of its location, the small scar left by the procedure can easily be concealed by your underwear.
