The : The "whooshing" sound you are hearing is the computer's interpretation of the blood flow through your heart. It is completely normal to hear this during an echocardiogram and it helps the sonographer guide the probe to the appropriate spot.

It's a normal sound: No worries. It is absolutely normal and makes that sound every time it does an exam. It is the doppler feature on the echo machine that helps us with a diagnosis but the sound is part of the exam not an issue with you.
