What's the difference between an ecg and an ekg? i've had an ekg done, but then i came across this term ecg, and i didn't understand what the difference was.

Nothing : Nothing actually, and i know that it is often confusing. It is just the the difference between the old german spelling "elektrokardiogramm" and the english "electrocardiogram".

English v German: Electrocardiogram (ECG) v electrokardiogram ( ekg)they are the same.

ElektroKardioGram: Is a german and a dutch word for the technology since it was invented by the gentleman named einthoven. Also kardia is a greek word for the heart. Ekg is a tradition which some non-conformists don't like and call ecg.
