Hello, There : Hello, there are many ways to perform a "brow lift", which is intended to elevate relaxed brows and to smooth the forehead. Like any operation, local mild to moderate soreness for a few days is common. Numbness in the forehead and scalp behind any forehead incisions may also occur. A sense of tightness and reduced movement of the forehead and brows can occur, although some movement is generally always observed, but may feel less agile than normal. Depends: An endoscopic brow lift has few side effects. Incisional irritation, scarring and alopecia and asymmetry would be occasionally seen. Coronal brow lifts leave some degree if numbness. Today Botox is so successful at lifting the brow that brow lift surgery is not necessary in many cases and the results are seen quickly.

Risks associated: If by side effects you mean complications, all surgery poses some degree of risk, but brow lift complications are typically rare. Possible risks could include numbness/tingling, infection, and unfavorable or asymmetric results. Specific side effects are dependent on the specific surgical plan. Be sure to discuss complications and risks with your board certified plastic surgeon during consult.
