Had stroke but tests all clear. have found pfo with echo bubble study. recommendation is to close it with procedure through groin? any opinions ?

Stroke and PFO: Tough question. Recent clinical research studies would say there is no benefit but i think that if no other cause for your stroke can be found, the wise thing would be to proceed with closure as these studies have had their methodologies questioned.
