If you have low o2: The risk of higher altitude is lower oxygen in the air. This can lead to further strain and stress on the body and worsen pulmonary hypertension, especially in more advanced disease. Your doctors can check your oxygen levels to see if you are at risk for low oxygen. These levels should be checked with rest, activity and with sleep. If your saturations remain in a safe range you dont need to move.

Depends: If you live at an altitude above 5000 ft it may make sense to move to a lower altitude. If you are on supplemental oxygen therapy there isn't much data to suggest you do better at lower altitude. The decision to move involves many other factors such as your support systems, family, access to medical care and family. It can't be a decision based on one factor alone.

Yes: It is a great idea to be at sea level. The high altitude is associated with low oxygen in the air and going to a lower altitude is helpful. I treat many patients with phtn and when they come to a lower altitude they feel much better.
