Possibly so...: Naturally your mouth changed upon removal of the wisdom teeth. I would discuss this with your surgeon to see if they know of any particular reason on why this may be happening in your case.

Yep. : You had a major surgery and that has its own side effects. The sensitivity will be there for some time but it should decrease as times go by. As we get older..Tonsil removal is more difficult and besides...Adults will whine more than kids when this happens. Treat yourself to large amounts of you favorite ice cream and give yourself time to heal.
