No: An abdominal hernia is a protrusion of stomach through the diaphragm and is usually asymptomatic, although it can be associate with gastro esophageal reflux.

Possible, but...: Anything is possible, but usually only large abdominal or hiatal hernias cause symptoms in chest wall. You doctor should be able to help.
