LLQ pain: Many things can cause this, diverticulitis, polyps, constipation, rectal prolapse etc. Would see a colorectal surgeon or gastroenterologist, sounds like you need a CT and or colonoscopy. This would also rule out the difficult hernias as well as simple ones.
