Cast or splint: Need for hairline fracture. It will reduce the pain and prevent the fracture from getting worse.

Cast or splint: A splitn lets you take it off and wash but complicance is often an issue even with the best intentions and it may take longer to heal. While annoying at times a cast may work faster initially. Ten weeks down the line no difference, just your experience in getting there.
