Dentist check up: Loose teeth is common in 9 year olds. As the permanent teeth come in the baby teeth get loose and then fall out. This starts around age 6 and is usually finished by age 12 or 13. If you are not sure whether the loose tooth is a baby tooth or not, see your dentist.

Will fall out: In children, it is best to let primary(baby) teeth fall out on their own. However sometimes the tooth may need to be removed if it is very uncomfortable. If the tooth is a permanent tooth most likely it will not become loose unless there is trauma. It is best to consult her dentist

Watch: A loose tooth at age 9 is probably the normal process of exfoliation where the baby teeth are replaced with the permanent teeth. Check with your dentist to make sure the process is on schedule.
