Prevention is key!: There are ways to help avoid a gum graft (brushing technique, fluoride, nightguard, etc.), but once the tooth's supporting tissues, such as gums and bone have been lost, they are extremely difficult to regenerate. A natural remedy would be fantastic, but once there is need for a gum graft surgery, natural remedies are unlikely to provide much help. A dentist or periodontist can help you decide.

No: I've been a dentist for 40 years and I am also a naturopathic physician. If you need a graft, nothing else works.
