What can cause eyelids to flicker?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blepharospasm: The flicker in your eyelid is a condition called blepharospasm. This is caused by nerves firing uncontrollably, stimulating your orbicularis muscle to contract. If this doesn't resolve on its own, the treatment is Botox injections to these areas, the effect of the Botox will last approximately 3-4 months before its recurs.
