Ptosis: Drooping eyelid can be congenital, caused by birth trauma, acquired muscle weakness or something more serious like eye socket disease or tumor or indicative of neurological problem. Should see your eye md for diagnosis and recommended treatment.

Ptosis=eyelid droop: Most likely you have ptosis, which is a drooping of the upper eyelid. This can be related to some serious medical problems, so you should get it checked out. If your eyelid has been that way for many years, it is not likely anything serious. It can be repaired with a ptosis repair (eyelid surgery).
