what could be the cause of sudden bags/folds under my lower eyelids?

Dr. Daniel Wachtel
59 years experience Ophthalmology
Baggy eyelids: Sudden appearance of swollen, baggy lower eyelids may be associated with fluid retention. Check your weight for any recent gain and consult your family doctor. Gradual bagginess of the skin of the lower eyelids is often an inherited condition.
