A member asked:

What are signs that you tore your meniscus in the knee?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very Specific: The most obvious signs of meniscal tears is a knee that locks up or gives out on you with activity. There are some clinic exam techniques that clue doctors in to having a meniscal tear, like point specific pain when pushing on the meniscus itself.
