Orthopaedic Eval: You need to be seen by an orthopaedic surgeon. Many meniscal tears require surgical (arthroscopic) intervention to trim the injured tissue or repair the more significant injury. An MRI will help your physician confirm the diagnosis and to make sure the injury is limited to your meniscus.
