Allergic?: There are oral antimicrobials in a bunch of different groups so it would be quite unusual to be allergic to them all. Getting diarrhea or vomiting or a yeast infection does not mean an allergy. It is likely that there will be an oral medication for you to take.

Two possibilities: It is very likely that there is an alternative antibiotic that you are not allergic to. However, if for some reason the organism that you have is only sensitive to a particular antibiotic that you happen to be allergic to, an allergist trained to perform drug desensitization can assist you doctor to treat you.
