Clean it: Cleanse it thoroughly with soap and clean water or a disinfectant like betadine or hibiclens and apply some antibacterial ointment. If you haven't had a tetanus booster in less than 10 yrs then get one in the next 24 hrs.

Seek med attention: This could be the type of wound that might be prone to infection. If your tetanus status is not up to date, this should also be considered. Seek medical attention to prevent problems.

Have it evaluated.: Such injuries can potentially be dangerous as one may develop tetanus, or a number of other types of deep infections. Have it evaluated to prevent possible complications.
