Not likely: The Flonase generally will not interact with internal chemistry. But the sinus infection could imbalance your bipolar. It is well documented that infections can alter mood or temperament. Are you using any other medications for your sinus infection? Decongestants (and maybe antihistamines) can destabilize your bipolar frequently. As can systemic steroids and cough medicines.

Very unlikely: Very unlikely as the amount of steroid that is actually absorbed by your bloodstream is extraordinarily low.

Unlikely: Good that you are being concerned about steroid use in bipolar, since they can trigger manic symptoms. But Flonase usually doesn't produce much systemic /blood levels so it should be fine. I usually worry about steroid induced mania with doses of Prednisone equivalents at or above 20mg/day. I often give seroquel (quetiapine) to cover sleeplessness associated with steroid use.

Probably Not: Everything is possible but Flonase probably won't reach high enough concentrations if used within fda dosing guidelines to cause much trouble. Make sure you get good sleep & eat well --- as this is more likely to get you into trouble. Good luck.
