Need help: An upper respiratory infection or head cold will typically run its course in 5-7 days. If you are developing increased facial pain, pressure associated with nasal congestion and discolored nasal drainage, then it likely is becoming a bacterial infection. You can try decongestants, Guaifenesin in addition to Flonase , but soon you may need an antibiotic. See your doctor.

Antibiotics: Flonase will not treat a sinus infection. See your MD or an ENT doc for treatment.
