Need An evaluation: Endometriosis should not cause the bleeding but can cause the pain. Pcos can cause the bleeding, and it may either be hormonal or from overgrown or polyp in the uterus as well. So it is important to figure out the cause. For instance, if it is from overgrowth or a polyp, birth control pills will not help you.
