Healthy grain, but..: It should only be a part of a healthy diet. Need additional protein source, e.g. Beans, or animal/dairy. Corn is incomplete source of protein. Relying on corn as major diet source leads to Niacin (a b vitamin) deficiency- pellagra ("rough skin", "corn eaters disease"), which can cause dermatitis (skin abn), diarrhea, dementia, delirium, and death if severe and untreated.
