No: Chiropractors relieve musculoskeletal symptoms by realigning the spine. Carpal tunnel syndrome (cts) is caused by compression of the median nerve, within the carpal tunnel. See a board certified orthopaedic hand surgeon for evaluation and treatment. Oral/injectable steroids, splints and occupational therapy are good non-operative treatments. Surgery may be needed for persistent cases.

YEs they may help: While a chiropractor is not a surgeon who can operate on cts, many chiropractors are excellent diagnosticians and offer early treatment that can help the right patient, but there are some ( like some non surgeon mds or dos) that spend too much time expecting weird conservative methods to work. A good chiropractor knows when to refer like any good health professional. Its some who ruin for others.
