Yes : How did you know the patient have plica, most likeley MRI was done, if that corect. Most symptomatic plica can be treated without surgery. Intraplical injection and physiotherapy might be beneficial in patients with a short history of symptoms. Arthroscopy remains the gold standard for treatment of pathological plicae, if other methods fail.
