How much time should i put a heating pad on my shoulder?

At most 1 hour: Hi, good question... There will be some variability based on the temperature of the pad and your skin sensitivity. Let your common sense be the judge, you do not want to end up with a burn and make your situation worse. General guide: up to 30 minutes at high setting and 60 minutes at low setting. Best of luck.

20 minutes: In generally heating or icing a shoulder is done for 20 minutes out of an hour. It is important to ensure the heating pad is not left on too long as they can burn the skin particularly in the elderly. Most people find that icing the shoulder is a better pain reliever than heat.
