Veneers: (lab fabricated) ones should be quite stain resistant. A normal diet with good oral hygiene should give you long term enjoyment of your veneers. Obviously avoid toffees, taffy's, coffee, cigarettes, excessive tea consumption ... - normal common sense stuff should keep you in good shape.

Stains: Veneers stain the same as teeth drain. Brush well and avoid foods or drinks that stain teeth. A guide: if it'll stain your white shirt, it'll stain your teeth. Also, porcelain veneers are much less porous and longer lasting than composite veneers.

Regular cleanings: The veneers will not generally stain. The teeth they are bonded to will, along with the margins where tooth and veneer meet. If your regular cleanings are not maintaining the unstained appearance, you might need the margins to be resealed. We clean out the bonding area of stain, then re etch, prime and rebond. Similar to recaulking your sink or tub. Good luck with your veneers.

Toothpaste: Maintain veneers as you would teeth. Brush and floss like normal. Porcelain veneers are very stain resistant, composite veneers less so.
