Eat right.: More protein and fewer carbs! the protein will keep you from losing muscle, while you burn fat. The typical diet that is hyopcaloric will cause one pound of muscle loss per three pounds of fat loss. Not good. With exercise and enough protein, you can add muscle, while losing body fat!
