A member asked:

What are these things coming from a saddle emboli?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood clot: A saddle embolus is a blood clot that has traveled from one place like the leg or heart, and lodged at a branching point of a vessel, blocking it as it sits on the branch like a rider on a saddle. The two most common places for the embolus to lodge are in the lung in the pulmonary artery or at the end of the aorta, where the aorta splits.
