You might want to.: I don't knoiw what you were prescribed or what you were infected with, but you might want to keep your doctor informed. Your antibiotic might be ineffective, or wrong for your infecting agent, or you might need to keep taking it. Sometimes, like in cystitis, etc., you might have to take antibiotics for 14 days. So call your doctor, but keep these things in mind. Good luck.
